Cinch your saddles, holster your footballs and get ready for the one day flag football spectacular, the Buckaroo Showdown, as it returns for its third year!
Scheduled for Saturday 9th August 2025, this is an 8-team mixed tournament: 2 groups of 4 teams, with the table toppers going head to head in the final. Every team is guaranteed at least 3 games, maximum 4. First game at 10am, with the final set to start at 4pm.
Women's tournament to have 4 teams, all playing each other once with the top two going to the final. Please note: Format is subject to change depending on the number of teams that enter. A sample schedule can be seen below:

This years tournament will be played at Tannaghmore Gardens, Lurgan, County Armagh, BT66 6LE – boasting a large playpark and an animal farm, plenty for all the family to do! Find out more about Tannaghmore Gardens here.
We will play using the standard IFAF 5v5 rules - 40 minute games, split into two 20 minute halves (18 minutes rolling clock then normal 2 minute rules apply). Teams will need to provide officials for when they are not playing. (Currently liaising with AFI to get officials for whitecaps). Changing rooms and toilets are available on site.
Team spots are on a first come, first served basis. Cost per team is £50. No refunds for drop outs. If we are unable to proceed with either tournament, refunds will be issued accordingly.
