Become A Coach

If you have ever watched American Football, you will appreciate how much of a team effort the game takes - from the players, the coaching staff and the volunteers. With squads of up to 52 players, you can see why it would take a huge effort from coaches to mould, shape and teach that many players. That is why at the Cowboys, we want you to join our coaching staff and help our teams be successful. It doesn’t matter that you may have never coached before or that you have coached a different sport to American football, we want to hear from you. We have openings for coaches throughout our senior kitted and flag teams.

What do I need?

• Available on Sundays for training and matches.
• Able to work closely with the Head Coach.
• Passionate about coaching rookies and veterans alike.
• Have patience – most new players have never played American football before.
• Have an IAFA Coaching Certificate (Level 1 or higher) - or willing to work towards one.
