6 Cowboys Represent Team Ireland U20s

On Saturday 8th April 2017, 18 months of hard work came to the fore as Team Ireland U20s took on the AFW Elite USA in a hard fought game at the National Sports Campus in Dublin, on what was a glorious day. The game would finish 53-6 however this does not truly reflect the effort that the young Irish team put in. The talent on show for all to see proved that football in Ireland has a bright future. 6 Cowboys earned their first cap: Gavin McConnell, Scott Buchanan, Bartholomew Burzynski, Anton Nulty, Reuben Larmour & Ryan Prunty. Congratulations to the guys and to everyone involved in the programme – hopefully this is the start of more international fixtures for the U20s!
